How do I create a free account?
There are 2 ways to do this.
On the left of the screen, under the ‘login’ button, click on ‘ Create account ‘, where you can fill in your details and indicate what other participants can see of you. By default, everything is off.
Register for an activity, fill in your details. You will then receive an email with your login details for the next time. In the event that you are already known to us, you will receive an error message. You can then log in with your username and password. If you do not remember them, click on the button ‘ forgotten password ‘ and you will then receive an email with a new password within a few minutes.
And if you want to be removed from the site, you can send an email to verwijderen@go-out.nl
Can I carpool?
You can see who else is going with me on each outing, you see the first name, the distance as the crow flies that the participant lives from you, and the arrow is the compass direction. This way you can estimate whether you can carpool with them. By sending them a private message via the site. Only works if you are logged in.
Who can see my personal data?
Only you can see your own data. During activities, logged-in users only see your first name and how far away you live as the crow flies. And they can click through to your profile, where you can indicate what is visible to other participants. And by default, everything is set to invisible. Participants from your ” circle of acquaintances ” can also see that. Your circle of acquaintances consists of all participants with whom you have ever done an activity together.

What information does Go-out! store about you?
When you log in to the site, you can see under ‘My account’ which information we have about you. The only things missing are your account number and when you became a member. And under ‘Payment overview’ you can see the activities you participated in and when you paid. We do not store any other information about you. We do not pass on the information we have to third parties, with the only exception that the organizer of an activity receives your name, email and mobile number.
How do I post a profile picture?
At ‘ My account ‘ you can place a photo. Please note that it only works with .JPG images. If you are unable to do so, please email the photo to foto@go-out.nl and we will place it for you.
Can I cancel a participation?
For each activity, a date is indicated on the page ” My agenda ” in the column “unsubscribe until”. Up to this date, you can easily unsubscribe by clicking on the “unsubscribe” button.
- If you have given permission for automatic collection, then you have not yet paid. Collection is always only after the ‘unsubscribe until’ date.
- If you paid by iDeal, you will keep the full amount credit for other activities. You can always see what your credit is at ‘ Payment overview ‘, if you do not want the full amount credit for a next time, you can also ask us to refund it. In that case you pay € 10, – for bank and administration costs.
Cancellation after this date is possible under reservation by sending an email to info@go-out.nl . The open spot will be placed on the site, and participants on the reserve list will be approached. If a replacement is found, you will keep the full amount for the next time. This will be automatically settled with your next activity(ies). You can also look for a replacement yourself. If you really can’t find a replacement, you will owe the entire amount. The chance of finding a replacement is of course greater the further in advance you report that you cannot participate.
Will I get my money back if an outing is cancelled?
If an activity is cancelled by the organiser, you will of course get your money back, unless it can be offset against a subsequent activity.
How do I organize an outing myself?
Do you know something fun, that you want others to participate in, you can place one on the site yourself. And for discussion of your idea you can always email or call us . As soon as you want to place it on the site you will find an explanation of how to fill it in here .
Do I have to become a member to participate?
No, it is not mandatory. You do get a discount on most outings if you are a member.
Can I pause my membership?
There are several possibilities:
- Temporarily suspend. In ‘ My account ‘ there is a button “pause”. Here you can temporarily suspend your membership for a period between 1 and 6 months, after which you will automatically be included again.
- For an indefinite period. This means that you cancel and become a member again after an indefinite period. The automatic collection will then stop immediately. Check the page “My agenda” to see if there are any activities there. The payment for these will continue.
- Per iDeal paid membership it will automatically stop as soon as the months you have paid for are up.
Cost of membership
There are 4 options for membership
- €2 per month, for when you organize activities yourself. The €2 starts as soon as you organize an activity yourself, and then remains for 6 months, after that it becomes €9.95 again.
- €9.95 per month, by direct debit, can always be cancelled immediately.
- €12.50 per month, if you pay for 3 months with iDeal.
- €10 per month, if you pay for 1 year with iDeal. with Money back guarantee : when you take this annual subscription, we offer you the possibility to cancel your membership (without giving a reason) within two months. In that case, you will receive the full amount (€120) back into your account.

Those are the first 2 numbers of your zip code, so you can see where everyone is from today and you maintain your privacy. overview zip codes
When do I pay?
With direct debit, the membership is collected at the beginning of the month. The amount of the activity(ies) is collected after the date in the column “unsubscribe until” for the activity.
Who else is going to an activity?
For each activity you can see who else is going. Some have chosen to add a photo to their profile (via ‘My Account’), useful to recognize each other.
Can I bring a guest?
Your guest is very welcome. He or she can simply register on the site and join in.
How do I change my password?
You can change it on the page ‘ My account ‘ under the heading “Your password”.
How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?
First log in to the site, then you can uncheck the newsletter box under ‘ My account ‘.
Who are the members of Go-out!
The members of Go-out! are active and interesting people who want to spend their free time as enjoyable as possible.
What is the most common age?
It depends a bit on the activity. Most participants are between 45 and 55, then under 45 and then over 55.
Who is liable during an activity?
Go-out! accepts no liability for theft, loss or damage to third-party goods. This also applies to accidents or injuries to persons during or as a result of an activity. We advise everyone to take out continuous travel insurance that also covers outings with an increased risk.
What are the rights of Go-out!?
Go-out! has the right to refuse participants and refuse activities of members without giving reasons.
